Legal Marijuana Delivery Services a Possibility for Louisiana

Legal Marijuana Delivery Services
This week, representatives for the state of Louisiana are performing research with officials in Colorado to predict the success or failure of legalizing marijuana in the state.  When the bill goes to legislature in 2016, it is likely that the state will welcome the legalization for the public to access Marijuana Delivery Services.

The success of allowing residents of Colorado to access a Marijuana Delivery Service

Following research in Colorado, a Baton Rouge state representative has observed a number of benefits that legalizing Marijuana Delivery Services could bring from state statistics.  Since Colorado legalized Marijuana Delivery Services and the use of cannabis, there have been fewer automobile accidents resulting in fatalities, and arrests in connection to cannabis possession have dropped dramatically too.

Marijuana Delivery Services could improve Louisiana’s economy

In addition to the other benefits that Colorado have seen from legalizing the use of pot and Marijuana Delivery Services, taxes have also risen.  This additional increase in taxes has been caused by the legal sales of marijuana, and as such the possibility that taxes may be payable on the sale of the product.  Just as Colorado has witnessed, Louisiana could see such a benefit by passing the bill.

Opposition to the legalization or Marijuana Delivery Services

Whilst there are clear benefits to legalizing marijuana for medicinal purposes in Louisiana, some state officials still oppose the bill.  Social stigmas and the belief that marijuana is a ‘gateway drug’ is still forefront in the mind of members of the legislature panel.  The division in the panel will make for an interesting vote on the bill, however those in favor of the ‘for’ vote are not panicking just yet.

Public believed to be in Favor of the Legalization of Marijuana Delivery Services

Despite the opposition of some, there does seem to be strong support from the public to legalize the use of Marijuana Delivery Services in Louisiana.  Some 60% of Louisiana’ population supports the legalization of cannabis for medicinal use, whilst 45% of Louisiana’s residents believe that pot should be legalized completely across the state.  Such belief in the drug for widespread use should surely help the legislation panel to make their decision when the bill comes to be voted upon.

Legalization of the use of Marijuana Delivery Services could make the state a better place

The legalization of cannabis in Louisiana could lessen the strain on the economy in Louisiana.  Having access to a legal Marijuana Delivery Service would mean that fewer marijuana related arrests are made.  Keeping prisons free of marijuana related prisoners would lower the financial strain on the state.  The increased tax payments that legal Marijuana Delivery Services would bring would also have a positive impact on Louisiana.alt Marijuana Delivery Services a Possibility
